Praises and Prayer Requests

Hey friends! Happy Father’s Day yesterday to our dads and all the father-like figures God has given us. We’re thankful for you!

We’re adjusting well (we think) to life in Quebec. Our new home is nearly settled, we’ve found some good parks in our own little neighborhood and some good grocery stores. We have experienced some cultural “firsts” lately, including our first Québécois wedding and trying to fill a propane tank for a grill.

Here’s how you can be praying and praising God with us:

Teammates are traveling in the next few weeks to help with some ABWE trainings and visit family. Please pray for their safety.

We’ve made some new friends (and connected again with old ones!) and are excited to plant deep roots here through future meals together, serving together, and via play dates between our kids. The girls, especially, are thrilled to have some new friends their ages. Praise God!

A friend at church offered to give us a tour of Laval University here in town. We’re looking forward to that and will be praying about how God could use us to serve the students (and staff!) there. Praise God!

That’s about it, friends. We’re plugging along and planning to send out a newsletter at the end of this month (after a 3-month hiatus). Thanks for your patience as we’ve moved and settled and stepped out by faith into what God has for us. We’re so thankful to be here.

PS – Big thank you to Judy Ann and Jim for the sweet cards you sent our kids from Alaska! They were so excited to get mail and the notes inside were just what they needed. Thank you for blessing us!
