We woke up this morning to frost on the ground and sub-freezing temperatures to usher in the weekend!
So of course, Allen and I had coffee on our couch and enjoyed our YouTube fireplace together.
But here’s a glimpse of our last week:
We spent last Saturday celebrating Allen’s birthday opening presents, enjoying breakfast and coffee from our neighbor Margot, and taking a walk in the woods around campus.
In the evening, we had poutine and a delicious homemade cake with friends. We’re so thankful for the community God has given us here, and especially thankful for Allen!
As for the rest of the week, we settled back into classes and routine and the kids “helped” rake leaves on campus:
Colder weather brought some cocoa parties at home:
And beautiful sunrises:
We’ll be hosting friends for a science-themed pizza night tonight and then having some kids over to play with our kids most of the day Saturday. Sunday is church and Bible study, then it all begins again on Monday!
We hope you all have a great weekend, friends.
