As we look over the past week, we have really seen God working to encourage and sustain us through His Word, family, and friends.
Friday, we had friends (hi, Shelly and Justin!) over for dinner. The kids played hard and had a great time decorating cookies together (which meant they slept hard too).
Saturday, Melissa and the girls met some friends (hi, Wards!) from Togo at a paint shop and enjoyed painting some pottery. … then the Wards came over for dinner on Tuesday! Please be praying for them as they return to Togo today.
We received a phone call from one of our dear friends and partners in Alaska (hi, Matt!), which came with some exciting news! We’ll share it later this month. Our French textbook has little story about Togo in it, which got us excited!
And finally, this weekend we are attending a marriage retreat here in TN! A huge blessing and answer to prayer.

God is faithful, and it’s so good to see you all enjoying life down in the lower 48. May God bless this weekend as you both get to spend some time together at the marriage retreat.
