Friday Favorites

This week was mostly characterized by playing in the dirt (be it Hudson playing with his dump truck in the dust or Allen helping with projects out in the field), pre-school activities, and preparing for Sunday’s service (we’re sharing at Bonanza Community Church, Bonanza, OR!).

Below are a few of our favorites from the week.

Last Friday, we spent the morning at a playground in Bonanza and enjoyed ice cream and popsicles from the General Store afterwards. Bonanza is a small town (about 1/3 the size of Palmer, for those in Alaska) and it was fun to enjoy the sunshine at the park and with some snacks!
And we enjoyed some sleep, some cooler weather, and coffee. Anyone surprised?
If you are in Eastern Oregon on Sunday, come join us at Bonanza Community Church at 10:10. We’ll be sharing our story and calling, work God is doing in Togo, and encouraging others to take part in God’s great commission.
Our fall partner get together is tomorrow at 9am Alaska time (12pm Central time). We’d love to have you join us! Need the link? Let us know and we’ll send it to you.

Have a great weekend!

  1. It is so good to see everyone looking genuinely happy. The joy of Christ is on each one of you as you continue to wait on the Lord to make a way for the next step in your families journey. He is faithful and His timing is perfect. Lord we are asking for you to make a way.

    • Thank you, Matt! He is so faithful and His timing in incredible perfect. Even today we’ve seen answers to requests we’ve been praying for the past few months. God is so good.
