Lesson #14

Peace. Joy. Reconciliation. Don’t we all need some of that in our lives? Luckily, Romans 5 gives us the answer to finding those things.

We’re kidding ourselves if we think kids don’t need those things, too. If you spent just one day with our own children, you’d see the frustration, fear, and fighting that creeps up between themselves as they go about their playing: both girls want to be Elsa; Hudson snatches away all of the toy cars; they all get too tired and cranky to show love and grace.

But they’re learning. We all should be.

Today’s lesson is from Romans 5:1-11 and reveals the overwhelming truth that we can have peace with God and be reconciled to Him through Jesus’ death and resurrection. What a cause for rejoicing!

If you’re still teaching through these lessons, enjoy. If you aren’t, tuck this one away for later. You’ll be glad you did.
