Tuesday Talk

We have about two more months in Alaska… and about a million things to do in that time frame. During last week’s training, another missionary said, “We have so much to do, but because of COVID-19, literally all we can do is sit at home and pray.”

How true is that? Scheduling partnership meetings, having our commissioning service, even shopping for supplies are all forced to the back burner as we navigate this new reality.

But we can pray.

Isn’t that lovely??

So that’s what we’re doing. We are praying for new partners to round out our team. We are praying for wisdom in next steps. We are praying that language school is a “go” in France this fall.

And friends, we are praying for you, too. Every night, we pray for two of our partners by name, lifting up specific needs and requests as a family. So please tell us how we can pray for you!

Have a great week!

  1. Please be praying for the peace of God to reign in the lives of those who may have differences in how they read and apply Gods Word (practically) in their lives. During these interesting times we have more time to focus on the things that seem to divide us even when they don’t really matter. So, please pray for the Church to major on the majors, and let the minors be. Pray for unity in the body of Christ, so that we can burn bright for His glory and our joy!
