Every so often, we post a resource that is helpful to us in preparing for the mission field, leading our family well, developing disciples, and growing individually.
Today, we want to highlight a website that is chock-full of different articles, podcasts, videos, devotionals, Scripture reading plans, and more: Crosswalk.com.

Whether you have questions about singleness or marriage, tithing or youth ministry, or simply want a Biblical take on news and culture, Crosswalk.com probably has something for you.

As I perused the site, I found this encouraging article: 10 Fall Outdoor Activities to Grow Closer to God and Each Other. It’s several years old, but still relevant. The premise of it all? Keep thing simple. In a world that yells, “Go! Go! Go!”, we are encouraged in Scripture to rest, to slow down, and to just be. The article highlights the value of keeping thing simple in order to engage in relationship. The fall activities they suggest are all outdoor activities that allow us to enjoy the beauty of this season, remember the Creator who made it all, and enjoy the slower pace of walking through a park or on a nature trail.
As with everything, be sure to compare the content therein with Scripture to make sure it is aligned. While the information is informative and sound, it is not the Bible, which is our ultimate resource. It is through Christ that we have all we need for life and godliness!
