Well, there were many unexpected things that happened this week… some good, some not-so-good, and some hilarious. We’ll cover it all here.
Last Saturday, we heard a soft “boom” while our lunch was heating up on the stovetop. And then we started smelling gas. Uh-oh. So, we turned the oven off and called Enstar. The nice technician who came out couldn’t find a leak but said that we probably need a new oven. So we loaded up the van, drove to Lowes, and bought a new one! We’ve known for a couple years now that we needed a new oven… it was just a matter of how long we could put it off. Turns out, not much longer.
So there’s that.
Oh! And here’s a picture. Isn’t is pretty and simple and nice?!
Ruth has somehow learned how to oink really really well. It’s surprisingly hilarious. We were all sitting in the living room the other day and she started oinking. I’m laughing now just thinking about it! Then Clara heard, and she started oinking too. Where these girls got it, I have no clue.
Hudson James took some steps this week with the help of his little walker! He is very much mobile now and nothing is safe.
Clara belle loves to carry her toys in the van with her. Mickey, Minnie, Anna, Elsa, Bear… they all have to have their places.
We received a packing list for Togo this week, too! We’re starting to dive into it, looking at what we already have, and making a list of items we’ll need to get. We’ll share it soon!
Snow in the forecast for today! Can’t wait to adventure this winter with our little clan. Have a happy weekend, friends.
