Happy Tuesday!
Last week, we shared a quick timeline update (click here if you missed it). And this week, we want to share a little more about that so you can be praying with us for God’s ultimate timing and will.
Okay, so for the remainder of the year, we are continuing our partnership development, trying to get the last 25% we need of monthly support. (PS – Clara helped us make a little video over the weekend…) We’re also starting to prep our house to sell (anyone want to help paint?!), begin gathering supplies to take with us to West Africa, and purging the items we don’t need.
In the spring, we anticipate putting our house on the market before heading to Field Prep Seminar in April. Then, in May-ish, we’ll leave Alaska!
We hope to spend some time with friends and family in the Lower 48, pack and ship a container from the East Coast, and head to language school in the fall. We’ll be at language school for a year-ish, then be in Togo.
So, some prayer requests:
- God’s timing. We have our plan, but God’s is always so much better. So we’re praying for His timing and purposes in all things as we hold everything with open hands.
- Wisdom for who to invite into partnership. The Lord knows our team and we are trusting Him to develop it, but we must do our part, too.
- Growth in our lives. Scripture says there is a season for everything, and we want to see fruit in this season of transition.
- Continued perseverance and success in Allen’s Classes. He only has a couple semesters left!
We are so thankful for God’s provision and safety in our lives, for how He has led us and orchestrated things for our family. What an honor to serve the King and Creator of the Universe.
