Weekly Recap

Friends, rain, reading… and homework. What a week!

We went on a short family walk at Reflections Lake this week. The girls loved walking in too deep water:

Hudson loved being along for the ride:

And I loved hearing our kiddos laughing with delight at the chilly water and brief rain storm.

Allen just loved being outdoors. He comes alive when he is doing something adventurous outside and I love that about him.

We spent lots of time with friends this week: afternoons and/or evenings with them at our house, lunch dates… my friend, Kristina, is in town and we had lunch one day this week. We’ve been friends for more than half our lives, so it was fun to hangout again.

Also, lots of homework time this week, trying to wrap up some classes and get stuff done.

We had special quiet reading time…

Enjoyed some hot cocoa (yay, fall!!)…

And “facilitated” several naps.

We shared an audacious goal and more tips for traveling with kids.

But hopefully, more than anything else, we shared Christ: with our family, our friends, our classmates, and our coworkers.

We are kicking off a new Sunday School class this weekend. If you are local, join us at 9:00am at FLBC for a study through James!

Have a great weekend, friends!
