Did anyone trick you yesterday for April Fool’s Day?! I remember once, in middle school or high school, tying a rubber band around the spray nozzle on our kitchen sink. When my brother turned on the water that morning, he got soaked by the spray. It was awesome.
But reminiscing with me about my one successful prank is probably not why you are here. We have some new praises and prayer requests!
Praises:
- We are thankful for the opportunity to continue to meet with people about Togo and thankful for our prayer and financial partners.
People have been asking about my transition back to work and it has given me an opportunity to share about how God is providing for our family through my job and how grateful we are for His provision.
Allen is LOVING his Church Administration class this semester!
At his two-month appointment last week, Hudson measured in at 24″ long and also to 13 lbs. we are thankful he is growing so well after a very rough start. I’m also super thankful that he is mostly sleeping through the night!

Prayer Requests:
- We have another meeting or two this weekend, so pray that that time together is fruitful for our relationships and future ministry.
- We are still waiting for Allen’s passport to come back from being renewed… and we leave for Togo in 4 weeks. Please pray that there are no complications with that or getting our visas in Togo. I’m a little nervous about those things.
- Speaking of our visit to Togo, we are praying that God will give clear direction and ministry focus while we are in-country to both Allen and me. We are excited for this trip and can’t wait to see how God leads our family. And we can’t wait to meet all the teammates we’ve been talking to online for a year now!
Have a great week, friends. We are praying for you!
