First of all, we want to thank everyone for praying earlier this week. From Monday night through Tuesday morning, we had a rather big and scary situation going on. God heard our prayers and everything turned out so well. We are thankful and blessed. That was, of course, the highlight of our week, but here are a few others…
Hudson. In. Overalls.
Also, Ruth and Clara’s enthusiasm when it comes to dancing:
We (finally) got our family photo hung up with our missions display at church!
We had decided to wait until Hudson was born so that we weren’t changing it every three months. And we love how it turned out! This photo is also a sneak peek of our new prayer cards, which we got in the mail this week. We’ll start sending them out soon, so be on the lookout for yours soon. Send us a message here with your mailing address and we’ll make sure you receive one, too.
People ask us frequently, “How are you adjusting to life with three kids?!” And honestly, the next few pictures from this week will show you how.
We put the kids in the car and go for a drive: they get a nap and we get to have a full conversation together.
Or, we “swaddle” them in big blankets and put on a movie. They have quiet time (or nap) and we can get a few things done.
Or, we go out for lunch to get some fresh air, a change of scenery, and giant cookies from Krazy Moose Subs.
Any other tips for adjusting to three kids? I return to work next Wednesday and we could use all the tips we can get!
We are gearing up (literally – you should see the toppings we have purchased!) for our ice cream get together tomorrow night! Please plan to join us at 6:30pm at our house for a ministry update, projected timeline, and dessert. It will be a fun time of fellowship AND you can meet Hudson if you haven’t already!
Next week, we’ll post about our projected timeline here on the blog.
Okay, to wrap this up, I have to share this. Here in Alaska, we are somewhere between second winter and false spring, I think…
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!
