The last Sunday of every month, our church does “Verse Alert”, where all Sunday School classes stand up to share a verse they’ve collectively committed to memory. My class shared Psalm 16:11 –
I keep reminding myself that “whatever” happens this week, the path of life, fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore are promised by the Lord.
Praises:
- Ruth is (finally) sleeping (a little bit) better. It took four or five days of very difficult nights to get her there, but we’ve made some progress. She still prefers sleeping on the floor rather than in her bed, but at least she is in her bedroom, door closed, and mostly quiet. Thank you for praying with us! As the Lord reminds you, please keep it up… we have a long ways to go before things are “normal” again.
- We had a great time with my dad this last weekend! Our girls loved seeing their papa and Allen and I loved just visiting with him in the evenings. He and his friend Tim, are now driving through Canada.
Prayer Requests:
- I (Melissa) am starting a Bible study this weekend with a friend from church! We are doing a study I’ve wanted to complete for a while, so I’m excited. Please pray for fruitful time together, God-honoring conversation, and growth in both of our lives.
- We still have not heard about our insurance’s intention to pay for Clara’s procedure in July. Please continue to pray for that to be covered in full or for God’s provision.
This is a busy week for our family… and we’re sure it is for yours, too! We are praying for you.
