Philippians 4:19 promises, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Isn’t that so encouraging?
Whatever your needs are this week, whether they are related to the custody of some kiddos you love like your own, the recent loss of a sweet family member, or a deep relational need, the Lord knows and He will meet it.
Allen and I love having the opportunity to pray for you. Let us know how we can.
Praises
- On Saturday, we had the chance to eat lunch with some new partners and their family who served in West Africa! We talked about language school, the importance of prioritizing family, and what we can expect in the region. We were so encouraged. Ruth loved riding their horses and Clara loved eating the grapes at lunch, so it was a winning day for all!
Prayer Requests
- Not sure if it’s her newfound fear of lions (which does not bode well for moving to Africa…) or something else, but Ruthie is really not sleeping well and fighting naps/bedtime for hours… literally. She has no experience with lions (in real life or in movies), but for whatever reason, she’s scared of them. We have no idea how to help her, other than by loving her and being consistent. Please pray for wisdom for us and for this phase to pass quickly. Clara can apparently sleep like a rock through anything, but the rest of us are severely lacking in the sleep department.
- We are waiting to hear about some insurance decisions regarding a procedure Clara had done in July. Please pray that those expenses are covered by insurance and, if they are not, that God will provide a way for us to pay what is coming due!
Thanks, friends. We appreciate you.
