Anywhere. Anything. Abundantly More.
Have you heard the song “Dream Small” by Josh Wilson?
Every New Year since we married, Allen and I make a list of Imaginings, based on Ephesians 3:20 – “God is able to do abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine, according to the power that’s at work within us.” We make a list of things that we want to see accomplished this year, then pray over how God will do abundantly more. Sometimes they are big things (like buying a house, starting the adoption process, etc.) and sometimes they are smaller things (like running a race together). But this song – “Dream Small” – reminds me that it’s the day-to-day things that matter, not always the big things.
Hearing this song was a favorite of mine this week. I hope it encourages you, too!
Last Saturday’s wedding was beautiful. We’ve loved looking at all the photos on Facebook. My mom sent me this picture, which she found online:
Ruth in the bottom, just peeking over the chairs, cracks me up. She spent the majority of the wedding sitting in the dirt, socks and shoes off, playing with her horse and a Little People bride. She kept saying, “Taylor Princess!” which made my mama heart so happy.
Our family was so encouraged by partnership meetings, texts, and hugs this week. The Lord is so faithful to use His Body to encourage His children. So again, thank you to those who have taken time to love on us this week. We value you.
As of this writing, we are officially at 18% of our monthly support! We anticipate next week being BIG for us – FLBC’s monthly support will be credited to our account and we have several partners who have committed verbally but not yet given officially. We are humbled and excited to see God working in the lives of His people, giving them a passion for His vision for Togo!
We are looking forward to a big weekend:
Hope y’all enjoy the long weekend, too, but let’s remember those who have given their lives for our freedom here in America. We honor those in the Armed Forces who have made that ultimate sacrifice. Thank you.
