Happy Togolese Independence Day!

Today, April 27th, is Togo’s National Day! It is the day they declared independence from the French-administered UN trusteeship in 1960.

To celebrate Togo’s Independence Day, here are some pictures of the beautiful people who call this country “Home”:

Pray for the people of Togo as they celebrate their Independence Day. Today is a non-work day, so they will celebrate with parades and hear a speech from their President.

True freedom, however, does not come from man’s declaration of independence. True freedom comes from God. So today, pray especially that the Togolese people will see the Lord and the freedom He offers!

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” – 2 Corinthians 3:17
