Happy Monday! What a weekend. The one thought that comes to mind this morning is this:

This weekend was, more or less, pretty standard for us, but I can’t help but think about how God’s hand is working in our lives, in everything that happens. He is so faithful.Some quick weekend highlights and pictures:

College & Career ended at about 9:00pm Friday night, so we went to sleep EARLY!

We took family photos on Saturday…

rode horsies and walked around the mall…

ate lunch and shopped at Costco, played outside in the beautiful sunshine, found new thrifted treasures, and the girls went to bed early.

Allen and I watched 3 (!!!) episodes of Dr. Who and I finished knitting some socks that I’d been working on since January. The evening felt like one before we had kids, and it was so nice to just relax and hang out together again!

On Sunday, our church had it’s Ground Breaking Ceremony! We are starting a new building project this summer and it was exciting to see the kickoff event.

We spent the afternoon at the ER (but, praise God, all is well – I’ll share more tomorrow) before getting some much needed rest.

Now, here we are. Monday, you look mighty fine… especially with this cup of coffee next to me! Have a great week, friends, and we’ll share some praise and prayer request updates tomorrow.
